Marriage and Family Therapy
Apply for a Marriage and Family Therapist License (Out of State Applicants Not Applying by Endorsement)

The following requirements must be met:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy program ONLY that is accredited by COAMFT.
- Submit OFFICIAL transcripts that identify the degree earned and date conferred.
OR
- Submit OFFICIAL transcripts that identify the degree earned and date conferred.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy program or equivalent field that is accredited by CHEA.
- Submit OFFICIAL transcripts that identify the degree earned and date conferred.
- Submit Course descriptions or syllabus for EACH course
- Complete and submit the EDUCATIONAL COURSE REQUIREMENTS pages.
- Taken and passed the national exam.
- Completed 3,000 supervised hours.
