NOTICE: Beginning October 1, 2010, all licensed Professional Counselors will be required to include not less than six hours of continuing education in ethics and/or law in the 40 total hours of continuing education that they are already required to complete during every two year license renewal period.

The NCE and NCHMCE examination process has changed. National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) is now handling the entire registration and examination process. Testing is now available on a monthly basis. You can find links to the registration form and the candidate handbook in the Related Information section of this page to the right.
